Position Overview:
Seeking a Retail Location Planner. In this role, the ideal candidate will manage the creation, validation, analyzing and execution of all top-side and location-level merchandise financial plans to achieve maximum business results in full collaboration with all internal and external partners.
Simultaneously, the Retail Location Planner must contribute to a guest-centric, performance driven retail culture by clearly articulating top-side and ship specific objectives and expectations and coaching all to create win-win/mutually beneficial scenarios for all internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Top-Side Merchandise Planning:
- Manage develop 5-Year, Annual, Pre-Season and In-Season Financial Plans at the location level
- Manage creation and communication of monthly In-Season Forecast
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop all company and merchandise initiatives.
- Manage all retail business analysis and reporting including all location, product, profit, attendance and assortment KPIs
- Drive positive results through improved business analysis and reporting.
- Coach, train and develop all stakeholders to deliver financial goals
- Effectively communicate retail financial plans and objectives to all stakeholders
- Monitor performance and adjust strategies as appropriate.
- Drive retail financial growth

Location-Specific Merchandise Planning:
- Identify business opportunities
- Manage location-specific projects, timelines and communication
- Create Location-Specific Revenue Plans for the 5-Year Plan
- Facilitate and Direct Location-Specific Annual Plans
- Validate Location Pro-Formas for Refurbishments and New Builds
- Partner with internal and external operations to identify and validate capital needs
- Manage monthly financial business reviews with internal and external partners
- Continually validate space utilization through trend analysis.
- Oversee location specific data integrity
- Conduct/attend location-specific retail meetings
- Generate location-specific routine reporting and communication.
- Drive location-specific logistic and stock service level objectives
Merchandise Space Planning and Design:
- Provide input to the design and creation of exciting and memorable retail environments
- Identify any needed modifications to physical space and develop business brief for fixture design and layout as well as for any renovations or new store designs
- Partner with Store Planning on development and procurement of fixtures and with Facilities development of new stores.
- Coordinate, with Stores, the installation or re-layout of fixtures
- Analysis of fixture capacity/volume, quantity, type and design to drive sales through effective merchandising
- Manage creation and execution of adjacency plans, fixture plans and store experiential design
- Manage development, execution and compliance of location plan-o-grams
- Manages conceptualization and floor plan designs for merchandising a product presentation.
- Manages the development of key merchandise presentation strategies and guidelines for product presentations that align with brand objectives
- Space productivity analytics development to increase GM$ and improve turn
Functional Skills:
- Clear understanding of the retail financial planning process
- Successful experience leading internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external resources in developing and/or contributing to strategic initiatives that meet department goals within budget and established timelines

Position Summary
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading all daily warehouse operations and ensuring merchandise moves accurately and efficiently from receiving to storage and from the warehouse to the retail sales floor.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing the warehouse team, maintaining an organized and safe facility, ensuring inventory accuracy, and working closely with the retail team to keep merchandise fully stocked. The Warehouse Operations Manager must anticipate replenishment needs, respond quickly during high-volume periods, and ensure customers have access to available products and sizes.
The ideal candidate is a strong, accountable leader who can establish clear processes, develop employees, solve problems quickly, and take full ownership of warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Lead all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, unloading, inspection, put-away, storage, picking, and merchandise replenishment.
- Ensure incoming deliveries are checked accurately against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
- Resolve and communicate shipment shortages, damages, discrepancies, and other receiving issues.
- Maintain an organized warehouse layout that allows merchandise to be located and retrieved quickly.
- Establish and enforce clear procedures for receiving, storage, picking, product movement, and warehouse organization.
- Ensure merchandise is stored safely and properly to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement.
Retail Replenishment
- Work closely with retail leadership to understand daily and real-time replenishment needs.
- Direct the warehouse team in accurately picking products, styles, colors, and sizes requested by the retail team.
- Ensure merchandise is transported from the warehouse to the retail store quickly and efficiently.
- Anticipate high-volume periods and plan staffing and replenishment activity accordingly.
- Minimize empty shelves, racks, tables, and displays by ensuring inventory reaches the sales floor before products sell out.
- Communicate immediately when requested merchandise is unavailable, running low, misplaced, or difficult to locate.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and develop warehouse associates.
- Set clear expectations for accuracy, productivity, responsiveness, organization, and safety.
- Hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, and adherence to warehouse procedures.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training.
- Assign daily responsibilities and adjust priorities based on deliveries, retail demand, and business volume.
- Foster a culture of urgency, teamwork, ownership, and pride in the warehouse.
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and product locations.
- Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Establish controls to reduce shrink, damage, loss, and misplaced merchandise.
- Ensure warehouse transactions and product movements are recorded accurately in applicable inventory systems.
Safety and Facility Management
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure aisles, exits, receiving areas, and workspaces remain clear and accessible.
- Enforce company safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
- Oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance and facility needs as necessary.
Communication and Reporting
- Report directly to the Managing Director regarding warehouse performance, staffing, inventory concerns, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain strong communication with retail leadership and other departments.
- Track and report key operating measures, including receiving accuracy, inventory accuracy, replenishment response time, damages, and productivity.
- Identify operational problems and recommend practical solutions.
Qualifications
Required
- Five or more years of warehouse, distribution, inventory, or retail stockroom experience.
- Previous experience supervising or managing warehouse employees.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and hold employees accountable.
- Strong knowledge of receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and inventory control.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using inventory, warehouse, or point-of-sale systems.
- Basic proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and operational reporting.
- Reliable attendance and availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Preferred
- Experience supporting a high-volume retail operation.
- Experience managing retail replenishment from an off-site or separate warehouse building.
- Forklift or material-handling equipment certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

During busy periods, the associate must respond quickly to replenishment needs to prevent empty shelves and displays, maintain product availability, and ensure customers can find the sizes and items they need.
